Fugitive Gluing

Fugitive glue is a low-tack, removable adhesive, most commonly used on non-porous surfaces. The glue is not absorbed into the paper, but rather sits on top of the paper to produce a physically removable dot of glue. Fugitive glues are most commonly in the form of hot melt adhesives. This glue is used for tipping processes; ideal for plastic to paper bonding and resistant against tearing. Valco Melton manufactures products for permanent or removable tipping attachments for publications. Ease-of-use on in-line and off-line tipping applications is increased by utilizing smart compact and modular designs. For more information, contact us today.
